The people who actually like barb probably don't even like her that much, but since everyone else does they feel like they're part of a group so their feelings towards her are more about fitting into a hipster crowd that is actually mainstream. This is called the 'hipster-majority'. WebBarb is overrated. I watched the whole “Justice For Barb” thing go down on the internet 2 years before I actually watched the show. I was excited to meet this character that everyone seemed to have such a warm spot in their heart for. I’ve now watched the series 4 times and I still don’t get why Barb is so beloved.
